The Theewaterskloof Dam
One of the largest dams in South Africa is home to the Theewaters Sports Club (camping, watersports and accommodation), the Theewaterskloof Golf Club, Aphrodisiac Shack Smokehouse for Smokehouse Tours at the best picnic and event venue right on the dam, various self-catering and B&B establishments and plenty of fish, and wind – perfect for sailors, kiteboarders and the like.
Many nooks and crannies (one being Gloria Bay) are usually sought out by water-skiers and fishermen alike to find the best water to enjoy their passions.
Along with the many activities that can be enjoyed on and around the dam, the Sports Club and the Golf Club both offer bars and food, with the Sports Club being the most popular eatery and event location.
